Duties & Responsibilities
• Conduct household and community profile surveys in designated operational areas.
• Perform traceability checks at the community level.
• Distribute shade trees to farmers.
• Monitor beneficiaries of living income plans.
• Address gender-related issues and grievances through awareness-raising activities.
• Monitor the survival of shade trees on farms.
• Conduct surprise farm visits to identify potential cases of child labor.
• Conduct needs assessments when child labor is identified.
• Develop and implement remediation activities for the benefit of children and their families.
• Monitor all remediation activities and households classified as high-risk for child labor.
• Organize and execute awareness-raising activities for members, households, communities, and collaborating partners.
• Report findings through a mobile app.
• Prepare work plans and schedules to ensure all households are visited as per agreed timelines.
• Collaborate closely with Technical Coordinators and Regional Managers employed by CAA.
• Ensure the appropriate use of tools, equipment, and safety wear, and maintain protocols for repairs and maintenance.
• Perform any other duties or assignments as directed by your supervisor.

Qualification Required & Experience
• Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Agriculture (specifically in Crop, Agronomy, Agro-forestry, and Extension), Rural and Development Studies, Social Science, Social Work, Psychology, Geography, or related fields from an institution accredited by the National Accreditation Board.
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a similar role.
• Experience working with farmers in the field and at least one year of field data collection experience in the cocoa sector.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication.
• Excellent planning and organizational abilities.
• Multi-tasking and the ability to work efficiently to meet targets and deadlines.
• Confident and proactive with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills, following procedures to identify child labor and carry out follow-up support activities.
• Proficient in computer skills.
• Able to independently create digital reports.
• Effective management of assigned duties in an assertive, efficient, and timely manner.
• Willing to reside in rural communities in any of the assigned cocoa districts lacking basic social amenities.
• Ability to ride a motorbike in rough terrain with a valid license.
• Keen attention to detail.
• Maintaining confidentiality and data security for assigned purposes.
• Fluent in Twi.
• Capable of providing basic cocoa extension services.
• Demonstrates emotional maturity, impartiality, and sensitivity to the needs of farmers.
