The European Society of Hypertension (ESH) for the academic year 2024 extends an invitation to international students to apply for the upcoming summer school. This summer school involves the study of Blood Pressure Control within ESH Excellence Centres, a program dedicated to Professor Alberto Zanchetti. The primary objective of the European Society of Hypertension is to enhance the treatment of blood pressure and elevate control measures. The overarching goal is to reduce cardiovascular risk, premature cardiovascular and renal morbidity and mortality. Additionally, this initiative aims to contribute to a decrease in healthcare costs.

Eligibility Criteria for European Society of Hypertension Summer School 2024

To be eligible for the European Society of Hypertension Summer School, candidates must satisfy the following criteria:

  2. Eligible Countries: Open to applicants from all countries worldwide.
  3. Candidate Profile: Young candidates with a strong dedication to hypertension, spanning both basic research and clinical practice.
  4. Age Preference: While there is no specific age limit, preference will be given to candidates below the age of 40.

How to Apply for the European Society of Hypertension Summer School?

Please follow the following application instructions to apply for this Summer School:

At least two candidates from each country (bigger countries may send more than two applications) should be nominated by the National Societies of Hypertension in Europe and submitted by May 01, 2023.

  1. Complete the membership application form.
  2. The nomination should include a brief CV of the applicant including their contact details. Each National Society of Hypertension will be informed about the selection of candidates in June.
